A Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe Animated Movie Was Reportedly Rejected By Warner Bros.

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe released years ago, and on the PS3, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wanting more from that crossover, but a new report indicates that Warner Bros. feels quite differently, and for now at least doesn’t want more out of it.

This isn’t even regarding the possibility of a new game, this comes from an interview with writer Jeremy Adams who penned the Mortal Kombat animated films like Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind and Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle Of The Realms.

He’s also written animated films on the DC side of things, with Batman: Souls Of The Dragon and Justice League: Warworld.

Adams was asked about a Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe crossover film, and he immediately managed hopes of that ever happening.

“I would lower your expectations.” Adams said. “I don’t know if they have any plans to do more. I do know that we pitched that a while ago, but it was kind of rebuffed.”

Adams continued, “I think at the end of the day, I don’t know if they’re ever going to do any more. I hope they do, and I hope they call me to be involved. That would be great because I really love it.

But I don’t know. I don’t know. I think it would be really cool though. Trust me, I would love to see a DC Mortal Kombat. That would super, super cool.”
