DriveClub Gameplay Looking Stunning Running At 60 FPS On PS5
Digital Foundry has posted up a new video of DriveClub running at 60 FPS on the PS5 via a modded console that removes the games’ frame rate limit. The video is part of an upcoming collaboration with modder Illusion, who you may recall has been releasing footage of many PS4 game running with uncapped frame rates on the PS5.
One of the things you’ll notice right away is just how stunning the game looks nine years on, with the 60 FPS being the icing on the cake. You can also see how it compares to the PS4 and PS4 Pro performance of DriveClub below. Sadly, Evolution Studios (which has since been shuttered) never released an official 60 FPS patch for DriveClub on PS5, so this is a close as we’re going to get to see it in action.
