Alan Wake 2 Gameplay Video Reveals The Writer’s Room
With Alan Wake 2 less than a month away from release, developer Remedy has released a new gameplay clip for the upcoming survival horror title showcasing The Writer’s Room.
For those who aren’t aware, this is one of two areas accessed in the player’s subconscious, the other being Saga Anderson’s The Mind Place. Alan’s The Writer’s Room gives the player access to a Plot Board, allowing you to pin together various clues in the narrative to change the environment; remember, this is in the Dark Place, a twisted reality that is far removed from the real world.

Alan Wake 2 is scheduled for release on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on October 27, 2023. The game takes place over a decade after the events of the original Alan Wake, and sees players controlling both Wake and newcomer Anderson in two unique campaigns. Remedy recently confirmed that the game will support a Performance Mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
