Earlier this year we mentioned in our Digital Dragons 2023 day one round-up how excited we are for Boti: Byteland Overclocked, so imagine our joy at at finding out the Boti: Byteland Overclocked release date. After seeing massive success at the Epic MegaJam 2021, the full game is finally bouncing onto our screens.
In this adorable 3D platformer you play as Boti, a tiny computer navigating his way through a world made of bits and bytes. Help your robot friends find hidden items and solve puzzles to save Byteland from an ominous threat.
One of the most exciting features of Boti: Byteland Overclocked is the couch co-op mode. When we spoke to the Purple Ray team at Digital Dragons they emphasized how much they enjoyed playing in couch co-op with friends and family and wanted to bring the experience back in their game. They were also heavily inspired by classic 3D platformers like Crash Bandicoot and Kao the Kangaroo.
When is the Boti: Byteland Overclocked release date?
Boti: Byteland Overclocked is coming to the Nintendo Switch and other consoles in early 2024. It’s out now on Steam alongside a free Prologue which you can try before fully diving into Byteland. We’ll update the Switch release date as soon as we know it.
