TeamKill Media previously revealed that Quantum Error was β€˜pretty much done,’ and that the game was designed to be played with the PS5’s β€˜extremely fast SSD,’ noting that the Xbox Series X’s own SSD was a bit slower in comparison. Furthermore, while a PS4 version of Quantum Error was initially planned at some point, the studio announced in late July that it had been cancelled.

Quantum Error will take full advantage of the PS5’s numerous capabilities, including DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, with instant load times available thanks to the aforementioned SSD. In addition, players will be able to enjoy 3D Audio, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the soundtrack and sound effects.
