Will You Stay Subscribed To Xbox Game Pass After The Price Hike?
The biggest story of the week in the world of Xbox has been the announcement of a price increase for both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass in various countries, beginning with Game Pass on July 6th.
Specifically, new subscribers to Xbox Game Pass will see the change on July 6th, whereas existing members will notice a difference beginning August 15th (September 15th in Germany). The prices will be as follows:
- Xbox Game Pass – £8.99 / €10.99 / $10.99
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – £12.99 / €14.99 / $16.99
These aren’t massive jumps — in the U.S. for example, it’s an increase of $1 per-month for the standard version and $2 for Ultimate — but it obviously all adds up in the long run. Fortunately, PC Game Pass members won’t be affected.
