Hogwarts Legacy Sales Have Surpassed 15 Million Units Globally
Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software have announced that Hogwarts Legacy has surpassed 15 million units worldwide since its launch in February 2023. The game’s success has resulted in the Wizarding World RPG earning $1 billion in sales.
Hogwarts Legacy was released initially on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, with the PS4 and Xbox One versions arriving today and Nintendo Switch receiving its own port on July 25.
Set during the 1890s — about 100 years before the events of the Harry Potter series — Hogwarts Legacy sees players hopping into the role of a student starting their fifth year at the prestigious school for witches and wizards.
As part of their journey, you’ll attend classes, learn how to brew potions, acquire new spells (including the opportunity to learn the there Unforgivable Curses) and battle against Dark Wizards and goblins to overthrow a plot to bring the Wizarding World to its knees.
