Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Is Getting Its Title Update 1.53 Tomorrow To Fix PS5 Flickering Issues

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate doesn’t have a native PS5 port, and there’s no sign from Ubisoft that it’ll be getting one anytime soon. But it will be getting another title update to fix the flickering issues players have been reporting.

Prior to this update going live, more than a few players would consider Syndicate unplayable on PS5. Many players reported seeing a flickering visual issue that halted their playthroughs.

Once title update 1.53 goes live tomorrow, that should hopefully be a thing of the past.

While it may not be a fully native port, at least having the PS4 version of the game patched enough so it can be playable on PS5 is something.

Perhaps in tomorrow’s patch notes we’ll even see some upgrades to how it optimizes the PS5 and its better hardware, so those playing on PS5 can get an even better version of Syndicate.

Before any of that though, let’s just hope the flickering goes away.
