Final Fantasy XIV Fanfest Digital Items Revealed, Includes Cloud’s Bike From Final Fantasy VII

With the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival taking place in North America on April 24, 2026, Square Enix has announced and released several new items to celebrate the occasion. For previous Fan Festivals, there have been several items; while they do have a theme, these items are not always tied to the next expansion, and are sold separately from the physical ticket to allow people who are not attending the event to acquire the items. Though I will say with the anniversary of Final Fantasy VII incoming, this could be the time for us to see some Final Fantasy VII-inspired content. The digital items that you can purchase are as follows. Also for a limited time, prices are slightly lower, so if you wish to get them, this would be the time to purchase them. You can find them here.

Final Fantasy XIV Fanfest Digital Items Revealed, Includes Cloud’s Bike From Final Fantasy VII

THE PRIMALS Orchestrion Set: £8.99/£8.09

This purchase includes five different tracks that have been performed live by THE PRIMALS at previous events, such as previous fan fests. The songs included are the following:

  • Under the Weight (The Primals) Orchestrion Roll
  • Through the Maelstrom (The Primals) Orchestrion Roll
  • Fiend (The Primals) Orchestrion Roll
  • Locus (The Primals) Orchestrion Roll
  • Metal – Brute Justice Mode (The Primals) Orchestrion Roll
  • Just remember, this music can only be played in inn rooms, private houses, FC rooms, or apartments. A private house includes FC houses, but you will need permission from the house owner if you do not own the house.

Pulse 2 Orchestrion Roll Set I: £8.99/£8.09

This includes different remixes of music from the game; some of them are more slow-paced, though a lot of them are more EDM/dance music style.

  • Windswept Echoes (Pulse 2) Orchestrion Roll
  • Close in the Distance (Pulse 2) Orchestrion Roll
  • Dedicated to Moonlight (Pulse 2) Orchestrion Roll
  • Bee My Honey (Pulse 2) Orchestrion Roll
  • Good King Moggle Mog XII (Pulse 2) Orchestrion Roll

As a reminder, this music can only be played in inn rooms, private houses, FC rooms, or apartments. A private house includes FC houses, but you will need permission from the house owner if you do not own the house.

Emote: Runaway Walk: £4.20/£3.78

This is a cool little emote that really showcases your character’s ability to strut.

Aunt Tii’s Neotunic Three-Piece Set: £5.40/£4.86

This outfit is based on a crafting quest in the expansion Dawntrail.

Minion: Wind-Up Red XIII (Account Wide) £4.99/£4.49

This minion is based on the adorable Nanaki, aka Red XIII, from Final Fantasy VII (both its remake and the original version) and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. This item, when purchased, will be on every character you have created and any character you may create in the future. Due to DC travel, you don’t really need multiple characters anymore, although some folk have them from when this was not possible. Account-wide stuff is always nice to see, because you don’t have to worry about purchasing it again. It is a one-use item, but once used, can be accessed from the minion menu at any time and will follow you around.

Mount: Hardy-Daytona (account-wide) £19.99/£17.99

This mount, based on Cloud’s bike from Final Fantasy VII, will make you feel like a rockstar; it is stunning-looking, and the detail in the model is incredible. Just like the previous Fenrir mount (which you can purchase on the online store), it gives a movement speed bonus in zones, giving slightly faster movement than standard mounts. Though you can get this buff from other mounts from doing certain things in the game, this will apply the level 1 riding buff by default. This means these mounts can be very useful during the launch of an expansion. Plus, like the minion, this item is account-wide, meaning any character created or that you create will have access to the mount. The item is one-use but goes into your mount menu forever once used.

Verdict

Though the items are cool, some of them, like the outfits, do feel like rewards that should be in the game as quest rewards, but a lot of the other items, such as the bike and the Red XIII minion, feel decently priced for what they are. I am happy to see they are also account-wide; they are often stingy with this, as they want folk to make multiple purchases, so this is a nice addition.
