Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Mega Man DLC Out Now

Capcom’s Mega Man has joined Sonic Racing CrossWorlds as the latest batch of premium content, with the Blue Bomber now a playable character in the game alongside a bunch of other goodies from the franchise.

Aside from Mega Man as a playable character, the DLC also includes Proto Man as a playable character alongside the Rush Roadstar vehicle, Mega Man Wily Castle course, three Mega Man-inspired music tracks (Wily Castle, Mega Man Character Select, and Mega Man: Result), plus six new emotes per character.

Those of you who own the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Season Pass will be able to grab the Mega Man DLC now, or you can purchase it separately for $29.99/£24.99. Even if you don’t own the DLC, you can still play against those who own the Mega Man content, so keep that in mind. SEGA has been busy pumping out content for the game since launch, and on Christmas Eve 2025 released DLC based around the cult classic NiGHTS followed by Pac-Man in January.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launched for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in September 2025, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving in December. Developed by Sonic Team, this lates entry in the Blue Blur’s racing spinoff franchise features the largest lineup of characters in a Sonic racing title to date, although unlike Team Sonic Racing, it doesn’t focus on cooperative play. There’s still a large emphasis on drifting however, with 24 tracks to select from and over 70 unlock able gadgets.
