Internal Investigation Into Masha Slamovich Abuse Allegations Underway By TNA

Masha Slamovich has been accused of domestic abuse by her former partner and fellow independent wrestler, AKIRA.

On Tuesday morning, a friend of AKIRA’s released dozens of screenshots and images that appeared to show conversations between Slamovich (real name Anna Khozina) and AKIRA (Alexander Atkisson). These texts have not been independently verified.

TNA Wrestling issued a statement to Sports Illustrated regarding the situation. They stated,

“We take any allegations like this very seriously, and have begun an internal investigation.”

AKIRA later posted his own statement addressing the matter, which appeared to describe his past relationship with Slamovich, though he did not name her directly.

Slamovich has not commented publicly as of this writing. She was removed from Prestige Roseland following the allegations.

Slamovich signed with TNA Wrestling in 2021 and is a former Knockouts Champion. She is currently scheduled to challenge Ash By Elegance for the Knockouts Championship at TNA Victory Road.

If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233 or visit their website for additional resources.
