How to play KPop Demon Hunters songs on Beat Saber with Meta Quest headsets

Golden, Soda Pop, and my personal favorite, Your Idol, are all bangers from the incredible KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack. The Netflix animated movie is surprisingly great and unsurprisingly popular, with plenty of the tracks sticking in the Billboard and UK Singles charts, so if you wanted to enjoy them in a rhythm game, you’ll be pleased to hear that there are options available. However, you’ll need an expensive device first – a VR headset.

The catchy beats and equally infectious lyrics make KPop Demon Hunters’ list of songs memorable, fun, and a great time for family or friends, so it’s no surprise that the tracks have been adapted in custom Beat Saber maps. Among the best VR games of the last few years, Beat Saber is well-known for offering dedicated fans a workaround to playing mods, and don’t worry; you don’t need a gaming PC. But, you do need one of the best VR headsets with a Quest 3 or 3S.

Truthfully, a Quest 2 will also work, but considering the aging hardware, I’d recommend going for Meta’s newest headsets. That’s an expensive barrier of entry to play some KPop Demon Hunters songs, sure, but virtual reality headsets can be used for anything from games to, well, watching KPop Demon Hunters on a larger-than-life screen.

You can buy a Meta Quest 3 or 3S from Amazon US and Amazon UK, and before going further, you’ll need to buy a copy of Beat Saber on the Meta Horizon storefront. Even without modding, there’s a great selection of basic tracks and DLC songs to play, but it’s the mods that really elevate Beat Saber’s greatness.

After getting your VR headset and a copy of Beat Saber downloaded, your next step is to use a PC or an Android – any of the best gaming phones that aren’t iPhones will work. Once that’s all done, you can now download custom Beat Saber maps to your heart’s content, and notably, all of the KPop Demon Hunters tracks are playable through BeatSaver, a website that offers the custom maps for BeatSaber. They have various difficulties depending on your experience level, and if you get bored with playing the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack over and over, well, there’s no shortage of other songs to enjoy, from Kendrick Lamar to Sleep Token and anything in between.
