Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 Is Out July 17, Brings AutoDrive, 3 New Cars & VRR
CD Projekt RED has revealed during a dedicated livestream this afternoon that Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3 will arrive tomorrow, July 17, and will put a major focus on customisation and vehicles.
Among the new features introduced with Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3 include three new cars and an additional motorcycle, the latter being the first customisable bike in the sci-fi romp. To unlock the new vehicles player will have to finish a brief quest, which Pawel Sasko, Associate Game Director on Cyberpunk 7, will be “intuitive” to trigger. These extra quests will not count as part of the 100% completion rate if you’re hunting Achievements/Trophies.

One of the major new additions with the latest Cyberpunk 2077 update is the AutoDrive feature allowing you drive vehicles hands-free, and arrives in a software update in-universe. To use it, all you have to do is set a destination marker and sit back and let the car do the work for you — while obeying the traffic laws, that is.
Other highlights of Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3 include VRR support for the console versions of the game, new Photo Mode features — you can change the time of day and weather, for example — as well as FSR 4 support and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3.1 for the PC version of the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 was originally released for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One back in December 2020, just one month after the release of Sony and Microsoft’s latest home consoles. However, the PS4 and Xbox One editions of the game were plagued by various technical issues, and CDPR would later shelled out around $125 million fixing the game as well as developing its expansion, Phantom Liberty.
