Achilles: Survivor heads to Switch later this year

The final war against Hades will begin Q3

The “myth-fueled bullet heaven” Achilles: Survivor will launching on PC and those other consoles this month, but that doesn’t mean Switch players won’t get their chance to tear through it. They’ll just have to wait until Q3 2025 to do so.

The game puts players in a fight against the armies of Hades, which—as one would expect—requires fast-paced combat, base-building and trap crafting, and roguelite progression to survive. Thankfully, Achilles will be getting help from some unlikely allies along the way.

In Achilles: Survivor, ancient legends clash with arcade intensity as you fight to escape the claws of death itself. Risen from the underworld and betrayed by Hades, Achilles now leads a rebellion of the damned-–joined by warriors both noble and absurd, ranging from cyclopes to divine poultry. You’ll battle through arenas straight from the myths, like Troy and Tartarus, whilst laying traps, building shrines, and unleashing a storm of steel and magic against hordes of unholy foes. With every run, your heroes grow mightier, unlocking new abilities and uncovering more of the war-torn afterlife that they now rule.

Achilles: Survivor will feature:

  • Survival bullet heaven with building mechanics: Expand your arsenal with traps and fortifications.
  • Diverse characters: Choose from numerous heroes, each with unique combat powers.
  • Dynamic action: Slay thousands of enemies, develop your character, and return stronger.
  • Various bosses and enemies: Face powerful bosses and hundreds of enemy types in different biomes.
  • Meta progression: Return from each expedition with treasures that make you even stronger.

Achilles: Survivor is not yet listed in the eShop, but Switch owners can learn more via Steam and in the community Discord.
