Rumour — New Call Of Juarez Game Is In Development At Techland
Insider Gaming has claimed in a new report that Techland is working on a new Call of Juarez title, following reports earlier today that the company has ceased development of two titles.
Reporter Tom Henderson stated that the Call of Juarez sequel has been in production for a while and is set to utilise the Unreal Engine, which differs from previous instalments, which were powered by the Chrome Engine. Techland is the developer behind the previous Call of Juarez titles, although it’s been a while since we saw the franchise, with the last entry being Call of Juarez Gunslinger back in 2013.

While the publishing rights to the Call of Juarez series was held by Ubisoft between 2006 — 2018, Techland acquired the rights to the IP as of 2018. Nothing else is known about the new entry in the franchise, and Techland hasn’t officially announced anything about a new Call of Juarez at the time of writing.
