Former CVCapital partner Jim Ying has launched a new advisory firm called Mihada Capital focused on M&A and investment.
The company specialises in offering financial advisory services to businesses in games, ad-tech, and digital media. It aims to help firms navigate financial and strategic decisions through M&A advisory, capital planning and strategic reviews.
Track record
Over the past several years, Ying has advised founders and investors on a range of strategic transactions, including sales, M&A, equity financings, and debt raises.
Notable deals he’s been involved with include Nazara Technologies’ acquisition of Curve Games, Housemarque’s sale to Sony Interactive Entertainment, and AppyNation’s sale to Miniclip.
Ying also supported Skybound Entertainment’s equity raise and partnership with Com2us, Aarki’s sale to Skillz, and Gaea’s studio sale to Embracer Group.
“With Mihada, I bring over a decade of operational experience across PC, console, social, and mobile games – and remain personally involved in every transaction, working closely with longtime industry partners and friends,” said Ying in a post.
