GTA 5 Has A Ridiculously Good ‘Just For You’ Deal On Xbox Right Now

GTA 5 is a game that, despite being over a decade old at this point, continues to sell in ridiculous numbers on a monthly basis, and this new “Just for You” Xbox deal may lead to another spike of sales in late June and July.

Over the weekend, a couple of us at Pure Xbox have noticed that the Xbox Series X and Series S version of GTA 5 is showing up with a whopping 87% discount on the Microsoft Store, resulting in a price of just £5.20 here in the UK. That includes both the story mode and GTA Online – with enhanced visuals and better performance for Xbox Series X|S.

The catch is that you seemingly need to own the Xbox One version of GTA 5, as the Just for You offer is telling us that we’re “eligible to upgrade since you own the standard edition”. Here’s a look at what I’m seeing on my Xbox console:

As with all Just for You deals on Xbox, they’re specifically targeted at certain users, and there’s a chance you won’t see this even if you own the Xbox One version of GTA 5. If you are coming across this 87% discount for GTA 5 on Xbox Series X|S, it comes highly recommended – mainly just for the ability to play at a higher frame rate compared to the 30FPS Xbox One release. The graphics are definitely improved as well, while GTA Online players can even benefit from a few current-gen specific features.

And yes, the game is included with Xbox Game Pass right now, but Take-Two is notorious for removing their titles off Game Pass very quickly – don’t be surprised if GTA 5 leaves the service by October or potentially even earlier.
