Pearl Abyss has revealed during an interview with Money Today Broadcasting (MTN) today that Crimson Desert is set to launch on November 2, 2025.

The article notes that Crimson Desert is now in the final stages of development and, providing there are no changes, we can expect the game to ship on Nov. 2. Pearl Abyss hasn’t issued a press release yet regarding this release date at the time of writing, but we’ll keep on the lookout.

Crimson Desert was originally conceived as a prequel to Black Desert Online, although development quickly swelled into a brand new project set within the same universe. The game was originally announced back in 2020, and details have been quite sparse over the past few years, although it has been established that Crimson Desert will take place in Pywel, a medieval fantasy world. Here, players follow a mercenary named Kliff, who is feeling the weight of leadership and is haunted by painful memories of his past.

PSU was able to sample four boss battles from Crimson Desert earlier in the year, so be sure to read our hands-on impressions with the game to see how it’s shaping up.
