King’s Candy Crush All Stars has returned for its fifth year with a prize pool of $1 million for players and a spot in the live final.
The contest kicked off on March 20th, 2025, welcoming players worldwide to compete. The top 10 players will vie for the title and a share of the winnings.
The two-month tournament features qualifiers, knockouts, and second chances, culminating in a live final in Los Angeles.
Knockout phases
The first Knockout rounds will take place from March 27th to March 31st. Players who don’t make it past the first stages have two Second Chance opportunities: the first runs from March 31st to April 3rd, and the second from April 7th to April 10th.
The second knockouts take place from April 3rd to April 7th, leading into the final knockouts, which span three rounds from April 10th to April 27th. The tournament culminates in a live final, with the date yet to be announced.
The competition is open to players aged 18 and up in 23 markets with a level 5+ account in Candy Crush Saga.
Last year, the tournament boasted 15m competing players swiping through 2.2 billion levels and collecting 11.4 trillion All Stars Candies.
Last year we caught up with King’s VP of marketing for Candy Crush Saga Luken Aragon to talk about the All Stars event and why King continues to run it each year.
