Picking the right operator can be the difference between winning and losing, so that’s where this Delta Force tier list comes in. Team Jade’s relaunch of the Delta Force series brings everything from extraction shooter action to large-scale warfare, but it isn’t enough to know which weapons are worth wielding. This guide will take you through each Delta Force operator, ranking them from best to worst within the current meta.

If you’re curious about what guns you should use, though, we can help with that. Dive into our Delta Force weapon tier list for a comprehensive breakdown of the FPS game’s arsenal. Delta Force tier list – all operators ranked

D-Wolf – Assault

Kai ‘D-Wolf’ Silva is your run-of-the-mill operator in Delta Force, and that’s not a bad thing. D-Wolf is one of the easiest operators to master, whether you’re coming over from the gritty warzones of Battlefield games or the frantic nature of Call of Duty games. We reckon that D-Wolf’s rapid slides and Triple Blaster make him a formidable foe to anyone attempting to get up close and personal, as you can run rings around enemies while threatening to obliterate them with some gnarly explosives.

  • Tactical gear – enables the wrist-mounted activator to overload the exoskeleton’s power, increasing sprint speed. Knocking down enemies restores HP and extends duration
  • Gadget slot one – equips the Triple Blaster and fires high-explosive grenades by pulling the ring with your index finger. The grenades can stick to vehicles
  • Gadget slot two – an offensive low-load smoke grenade that releases rapidly dissipating smoke impact.
  • Trait – uses the exoskeleton for rapid tactical slides

Vyron – Assault

You need to unlock Wang ‘Vyron’ Yuhao through Delta Force’s Recruit Check-In challenges, and you won’t regret it once you do it. Vyron’s gear is great for adjusting your position in the heat of battle, and that includes making leaps of faith from major heights. Luckily, you can negate a grizzly demise with a handy fall damage reduction through their trait.

  • Tactical gear – fires a compressed air round that knocks down nearby enemies on impact.
  • Gadget slot one – activates the Dynamic Auxiliary Device to advance in the designated direction. Knocking down an enemy reduces its cooldown.
  • Gadget slot two – throws a high-explosive bomb that sticks to hard surfaces and detonates after a countdown.
  • Trait – briefly increases system power when using a gadget or falling from a height, reducing fall damage and boosting movement

Delta Force tier list: An image of the operator Toxik.

Toxik – Support

Zoya ‘Toxik’ Pomchenkova isn’t your typical healer. Relying on UAVs and gas grenades to disorientate enemies near and far, Toxik is a great choice for players looking to cause chaos from the sidelines.

  • Tactical gear – sends forward a swarm of UAVs by deploying the “Dragonfly” Swarm System. Temporarily activating adrenaline for allies and disrupting enemies along the path. The disruption briefly impairs the hearing and vision of enemies and reduces their maximum HP
  • Gadget slot one – deploys a UAV to buff nearby allies, enhancing their handling and reducing hit flinch. Allies who score a kill or assist during the buff period receive a stronger buff next time
  • Gadget slot two – throws a Blinding Gas Grenade that blinds enemies within its range
  • Trait – reduces the time it takes for nearby squadmates to use consumables in Operations and reduces the time it takes for them to start healing after being injured in Warfare

Delta Force tier list: An image of the operator Stinger.

Stinger – Support

We’ve all encountered someone like Roy ‘Stinger’ Smee before. Stinger is your heroic healer, using smoke grenades and a trusty healing pistol to ensure every squad member is going home in one piece.

  • Tactical gear – equips a Hive-Tech Pistol that fires homing bullets, slowly healing allies and suppressing their pain. Press and hold the gadget button to inject yourself
  • Gadget slot one – launches a gesture-controlled UAV that emits a smokescreen while flying forward. Press and hold the fire button to steer the UAV
  • Gadget slot two – tosses a hive-Tech Smoke Grenade. Its smoke will provide healing when hit by the Hive-Tech Pistol
  • Trait – rescues downed allies more effectively and recovers more HP with Hive-Tech Pistol. Removes the debuff of reduced max HP in Tactical Turmoil

Delta Force tier list: An image of the operator Luna.

Luna – Recon

Luna ‘Luna’ Kim requires some patience to get used to, as her range-based equipment makes her vulnerable to a hail of gunfire if you’re not careful. However, if you like to pick off enemies Rambo-style with a bow and arrow, you can have plenty of fun with Luna’s equipment.

  • Tactical gear – fires a Detection Arrow that exposes enemies below and leaves micro-sensors along its trajectory to detect moving targets
  • Gadget slot one – fires a Volt Arrow with a bow. Its arrowhead generates electric currents to deal damage over time
  • Gadget slot two – a defensive frag grenade that can effectively damage ballistic vests and exposed limbs
  • Trait – Luna’s damage marks enemies hit for a short duration

Delta Force tier list: An image of the operator Hackclaw.

Hackclaw – Recon

Similar to Luna, Mai ‘Hackclaw’ Xiaowen’s equipment takes some getting used to. Hackclaw is all about technological warfare, whether that is by deploying drones or using her Data Knife to disrupt enemy electronics. If you want to upset your opponents with tech-meddling, Hackclaw is worth using.

  • Tactical gear – periodically scans for up to three enemy electronic signals using a decoder and displays these signals’ tracking paths on the contact lens. The path closest to you shows up in red. The higher the warning level the enemy receives, the closer you are to a Hackclaw
  • Gadget slot one – deploys a drone forward, producing a blinding flash of light against enemies within range. When you aim at a decoder’s trajectory, the drone will fly along the select yellow trajectory
  • Gadget slot two – throws the Data Knife to hack into a nearby electronic device on impact and briefly disable it. Direct hits on enemies deal significant damage
  • Trait – Walking and Crouching are faster and make less noise

Delta Force tier list: An image of the operator Shepherd.

Shepherd – Engineer

Terry ‘Shepherd’ Mursa is there to ensure that your vehicles are in tip-top shape, while mowing down enemies with brute force. Shepherd’s Sonic Trap is ace for holding other players back while fixing up vehicles or holding down key chokepoints on the map.

  • Tactical gear – deploys a Sonic Drone ahead to suppress enemies and reduce their fire rate through acoustic pressure. The drone destroys enemy sonic devices that resonate with it and interfere with recon devices. Press and hold the gadget button to deploy the drone on the spot (sentry mode)
  • Gadget slot one – deploys a Sonic Trap that sticks to hard surfaces, damaging and slowing enemies within its range when triggered
  • Gadget slot two – a defensive frag grenade that can effectively damage ballistic vests and exposed limbs
  • Trait – uses the hand device to generate anti-phase sound waves to reduce damage from blast waves

Delta Force tier list: An image of the operator Uluru.

Uluru – Engineer

Unlocked through his own set of challenges, David ‘Uluru’ Feller is an ace pick if you’re looking to provide suppressive fire. His concrete sprayer can provide cover from gunfire in a pinch, while his general toughness makes him a boon to any squad looking for a dose of strength on the frontlines.

  • Tactical gear – fires an image-guided loitering munition after aiming. It splits into four bombs on impact. When hip-fired, the loitering munition will engage preset guidance
  • Gadget slot one – Tosses a quick-setting concrete sprayer that creates a cover to block damage
  • Gadget slot two – tosses an incendiary grenade that detonates upon landing, quickly burning through Quickset Cover
  • Trait – stronger resistance to slowing effects from fractures and class gear
