GOODBYE WORLD dev’s home wrecked during family dispute, turns to fans for help

The developer behind the narrative adventure GOODBYE WORLD has fallen on some incredibly hard times, and they’re turning to fans for some help.

GOODBYE WORLD creator Yo Fujii has taken to social media to share a very unfortunate situation they’re dealing with. Apparently Yo’s mother spent weeks sending him threatening messages for an unknown reason, and this culminated with his mother causing serious damage to both his car and home. Yo even shared pictures of the destruction on social media.

Following the event, Yo has said that their mother has been involuntarily hospitalized once the police got involved. Unfortunately for Yo, he has tried and failed to get a restraining order against his mother, so if/when she is released from her hospitalization, more troubles could be on the way.

While Yo figures out his next step, he also has massive bills ahead to get his home and car repaired. This led Yo to asking fans on social media to help support him. Wondering how you can help him out? All Yo is looking for is to have people pick up GOODBYE WORLD on Switch (or Steam). If you’re interested in offering financial aid, you can research GOODBYE WORLD on Nintendo’s website to see if the $12 asking price seems warranted to you.
