Considering that The Forest had a popular community on PS4, it’s not that wild a thing to think that the sequel Sons Of The Forest will appear on other platforms soon.

No, currently Sons Of The Forest is not on PS5, or any console for that matter. The survival horror game remains in early access on PC, and there’s no sign as to when it’ll make its way over to consoles, let alone PS5.

That’s not to say it won’t happen, especially considering the success of The Forest on consoles. It’s just more likely that the team at Endnight Games is focusing on fixing up Sons Of The Forest for its official 1.0 launch out of early access, which is currently set for February 22, 2024.

Once that’s done, a console release date should follow soon after that, or it could even be possible that the console launch will be ready in time for the 1.0 launch, though that’s an extremely optimistic view.

For now though, players on PlayStation will have to either wait for Sons Of The Forest, or pick it up on PC.
