Capcom has no plans to stop making Ace Attorney content

The Ace Attorney series was firing on all cylinders for a number of years, and that’s thanks to the franchise’s explosive success on the Nintendo DS. There were multiple installments in the franchise available on Nintendo’s legacy portable, and that helped build the fanbase to where it is now.

Capcom has certainly continued to release Ace Attorney games over the years, but the cadence has dropped considerably. While we’ve seen spin-offs and collections launch, some have worried that we’ve seen the franchise’s best days are behind it. Thankfully, it seems that concern isn’t valid.

In an interview with Netlab, Capcom’s Kenichi Hashimoto assured fans that the company has plenty of ideas for where they’d like to take the Ace Attorney series, but specifics can’t be shared at this time.

The Ace Attorney series won’t stop producing content. We definitely have a lot of directions we want to further grow in, including mixed media. There’s things we’d want to talk about when the time comes that we can reveal something, but for now I can’t say much.
