Capcom Is Teasing “Special Announcements” Coming During Summer Game Fest 2024

It’s officially here, the week of Summer Game Fest 2024 has arrived. Time for a week of exciting announcements from the games industry that definitely won’t be leaked like they are every year.

Capcom is one of the publishers participating in the announcement festivities this year, and are beginning to tease that we should expect to hear about some of its coming games during the opening showcase of Summer Games Fest.

In a message sent to content creators Kit & Krysta, former Nintendo ambassadors, Capcom said “Join us for the digital premiere of special Capcom announcements during the Summer Game Fest 2024 digital event on June 7.”

Last week during the May 2024 State Of Play we got another look at the coming Monster Hunter Wilds, so it wouldn’t be too shocking if we got another look at Summer Game Fest.

There have also been a number of Resident Evil rumours floating around recently, and since we already saw Monster Hunter, it may be time for Resident Evil to be given the spotlight.

Either way at least we know we won’t have to wait long when Summer Game Fest will kick off this coming Friday.
