Final Fantasy XVI Update 1.32 Coming May 9, Fixes New Game Plus Bug & More
Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XVI update 1.6 will launch on May 9, 2024, which will come packing a range of bug fixes.
While the full list of patch notes have yet to be revealed, the publisher share the following details on Twitter:
-A rare instance in New Game + of party members not being displayed, preventing progress beyond the main scenario quest ‘A Chance Encounter.’
-An issue preventing players from obtaining the achievements ‘Yes, Eikon and Masterclass.’
-Incorrect conditions being required for obtaining the achievement ‘Such Doge, So Mega.’
-A rare instance of the game crashing under certain conditions.

Final Fantasy XVI was released for the PS5 in June 2023. Speaking in March this year, producer Naoki Yoshida revealed that there is currently no plans for more Final Fantasy XVI DLC beyond Rising Tide, although he didn’t rule it out completely.
