The same source who suggested Xbox was actively working on a new Banjo-Kazooie game recently is now claiming Microsoft will bring a first-party exclusive to a “competitor system” in 2024.

This information comes from the host of the Nate the Hate Podcast. He says this game will be arriving at some point during the calendar year, and should be met with plenty of excitement as it is a title that was in the “game of the year conversation” during the year of its release.

He further mentions how it was “met with high acclaim” and was also well-received by fans.

Here’s the part of what he had to say:

“In the calendar year of 2024, Microsoft will bring one of their more acclaimed first-party releases to a competitor system.

Since these comments, several suggestions online have referenced the possibility of it being the rhythm-action game, Hi-Fi RUSH. One particular ResetEra user, known for some Xbox-related leaks in the past, seems to agree the title could potentially be from Tango Gameworks.

Of course, nothing has been officially mentioned about releasing this Xbox exclusive on other platforms, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
