Capcom Spotlight Set For June 25th

Capcom has announced a brand new Spotlight featuring upcoming titles. The titles in Capcom’s second Spotlight of the year will feature the recently announced Dragons Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is the latest entry in the Stories spin-off role-playing games. We can assume its inclusion here is intended to announce some form of DLC or expansion for the title.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is set to launch September 24th, but rumor has it the title may be moved up to September 4th, as some retailers have posted the game’s release date on the 4th.

Way of the Sword recently had a demo release on the PlayStation Network, receiving high praise for its visuals and combat. In contrast, others thought the demo was overly easy, something that Capcom said would be addressed in the final release.

Dragons Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is the newly announced expansion coming to Dragons Dogma, which features an entirely new snowy mountain region and comes packed with plenty of updates for the base Dragons Dogma title. Some of these patches and updates have already been implemented to help address much of the players’ feedback on the title.

Capcom has been on a roll for the last few years, one of the top, if not the top, publishers with titles like Resident Evil: Requiem, Pragmata, and Monster Hunter Wilds.
