Senua Is A New Game Set In The Hellblade Universe, Coming To PS5 In 2027

Ninja Theory and Xbox Game Studios have announced Senua, a brand new instalment in the Hellblade franchise that’s due to launch in 2027 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

Senua sees players exploring a fantastical vision of purgatory while facing off against manifestations of fear, destruction, and pain through visceral, tactically-driven combat. Expect to master multiple weapons, dual-wield in the midst of battle, and vanquish creatures using powerful abilities, as well as going up against massive bosses that threaten to derail Senua’s journey.

Your adventure will take you through a Celtic warrior’s purgatory, viewed from the lens of psychosis. An interconnected world awaits you, defined by myth, memory, and pain, where you’ll use perception and puzzle-solving to unearth the truth and lies behind Senua’s path to peace.

In a defining standalone story and ideal entry point to Senua’s journey, battle to reach the afterlife and be reunited with the ones she has loved and lost.
