Which Xbox Console Have You Collected The Most Physical Games For?

It’s undoubtedly a fact that physical releases have become less popular in recent years though, and admittedly, we don’t have the largest collection of physical Xbox Series X games ourselves. Part of it is because digital has become more convenient, but it’s also because discs don’t offer the same freedom as they used to.

Back in the original Xbox and Xbox 360 generations, you could buy a disc and insert it into your console to start playing the game. Since the Xbox One era, discs have acted more like downloads – they install the required files to your console instead of booting directly off the disc, and sometimes the game is too big to fit entirely on the disc anyway.

Personally, my biggest physical collection is for the Xbox 360, and to be honest it’s one of the main reasons I keep that console plugged in at all times. I love going out to retro gaming stores and browsing the shelves for some cheap 360 games, as I know I’m buying something that will continue to work without issue for the years and decades to come.
