Microsoft has pulled the wraps off a brand new entry in the Gears of War franchise, but rather than continue the story established in Gears 5, it’s going back to E-Day in a prequel featuring Marcus and Dom. Is Gears Of War: E-Day Coming To PS5?

Gears of War: E-Day is not coming to the PS5. Microsoft confirmed during its Xbox Games Showcase in June 2026 that the game is an Xbox console exclusive, although it has been reported that a PS5 version does exist in a fully complete state.
