Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.2 Is Getting A Fancy Steelbook For PS5 Featuring Big Boss & Old Snake Artwork
Konami has announced a Steelbook version of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2, which will feature artwork of Big Boss and Old Snake. You’ll be able to pick this up for PS5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S versions of the upcoming stealth-action bundle.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.2 is the second in Konami’s retro compilation of classic Metal Gear Solid games, and features Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The latter is particularly notable as this is the only time the game has been made available on other systems since its 2008 debut on PS3, while Peace Walker was originally released on PSP in 2010 and appeared on the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. Metal Gear: Ghost Babel is also included in the collection.
The previously-released Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1 included Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Last year saw the release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a full remake of MGS 3, which alongside the Master Collection represent a long-awaited revival of the classic franchise.
