Car Dealer Simulator Has Something For Every Sim Fan On Xbox

Simulators are becoming much more popular on Xbox these days, and that’s leading to floods of them arriving on Series X|S as of late. Some sims are as addictive as all-hell, and while often laden with some of that endearing ‘jank’, they’re typically quite approachable too. Well, this past week or so I’ve been playing Car Dealer Simulator on Xbox – and its varied systems and mechanics are starting to sink their teeth into me. There’s something for everyone with this sim!

In Car Dealer Sim, you start out with pretty much nothing. Okay, well, you do have a scruffy garage to call your own, but it’s hardly a thriving business once you start up. No, you have to get out there in the world, source and fix up your used cars, and get everything looking presentable before you can start making some real moolah. I was pretty surprised at just how much there is to do here in Car Dealer Sim, at least during my first few hours of play.

Hands-On: Car Dealer Simulator Has Something For Every Sim Fan On Xbox1

When I decided to download this sim to try it out, I was expecting lots of its systems to be digital, y’know? I thought I’d be sat in my office, scouring the classifieds for deals before sending cars off to cleaners and mechanics to turn a profit ASAP. However, so much of this is hands-on work here – you’re driving around your local town, you’re getting down and dirty with a hosepipe and you’re fixing what needs to be fixed in your own little mechanic hub. It’s all here and present in the game world, and I quite like how involved it all feels.

In some ways, Car Dealer Sim is like multiple simulator games all rolled into one. You’ve got your buying-and-selling car business up-front, you’ve got your little valet station out back where you can satisfyingly wipe all the dirt away, you can get into the nitty gritty with car repairs – heck, you’re even a tow-truck driver at times here as you trawl about the town finding fresh stock. It’ll take me a little more playing to see how fully fleshed out all of these systems are, but with a quick hands-on I feel like there’s so much to be getting on with here in Car Dealer Simulator.
