Horizon Forbidden West PS5 Update 1.30 Adds Support For Power Saver Mode
Guerrilla Games has announced that Horizon Forbidden West update 1.30 is now available to download for PS5 owners, which is a small update that implements support for Power Saver Mode. You can read the full details below.
The follow-up to Horizon Zero Dawn, Forbidden West follows Aloy as she ventures into the game’s titular landscape to locate the source of a mysterious plague that kills upon infection. The game cost around $212 million dollars to develop, making it one of the most expensive video games ever made, and at its peak featured over 300 full-time employees. Among Forbidden West’s voice cast includes Ashly Burch, Lance Reddick, Angela Bassett, and Carrie-Anne Moss, and like its predecessor was powered by the Decima engine.

We’re rolling out a small patch for Horizon Forbidden West today. Patch 1.30 adds support for Power Saver settings on PlayStation 5, a new option that can reduce power consumption by scaling back performance in supported games when enabled.
