Randy Orton & Trick Williams Segment
Randy Orton: Portland, Oregon, welcome to Friday Night SmackDown. So, I got to the venue earlier today, I swear I was on time, so we’ll say it was this morning when I showed up and that sign was already up. And I glanced at that sign throughout the day as I was doing my thing, and it got me to thinking. And, you know, I’m a numbers guy, so I already know how many WrestleMania’s I’ve been in, but I started thinking about each individual WrestleMania that I have performed in, and there’s been twenty of them. And then I realized, I’ve only main evented, twice. You know, you just goes to show, it doesn’t matter who you are, it doesn’t matter what you’ve done in this ring or this business, it doesn’t matter how many World Championships or titles you’ve won or how many records you’ve set or how many records your name is next to. None of that matters, there’s no guarantee that you’re going to WrestleMania, let alone main eventing WrestleMania, but here we are. And I can officially say that, Randy Orton is going back to the main event of WrestleMania.
Now, check it out, I’ve never been the guy to stand in this ring while I’m talking to you guys and say that I’m the best, I’m not just wired that way. But I do let my peers do the talking, and a lot of them, and god, it blows my mind, a lot of them, they put me in that category, and men that I have admired growing up like, Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Harley Race, they put me in that category. Hell, JBL used to sit at this desk, week in and week out, and he would look at me as I was in this ring doing my thing, and he would say, Randy Orton is what you get if you were to build a pro wrestler from the ground up. The way that makes me feel, man, it’s something else. So, when I look in the locker room now, present day, and I look at the men that I share a locker room with, the amazing, talented men that I share a locker room with, it makes me proud, proud as hell to know that I’m still doing this after all this time, and people still consider me to be at the top of the game, and I’m in the spot that I’m in.
But don’t get it twisted, this opportunity wasn’t handed to me, nobody gave it to me, I earned this son of a bitch. Now, when it comes to the main event of WrestleMania 42, well, I don’t know who my opponent is going to be. But we’ll know in a few hours, we’ll all know together. Needless to say, I feel very different about the two possibilities, whether it’s Drew McIntyre or whether it’s Cody Rhodes. But it doesn’t matter who it is, I am not leaving Vegas empty handed. My will approach will be the same. I’m going into Vegas with a chip on my shoulder, and I’m leaving Vegas with the WWE Undisputed Championship around my waist. And Portland, I plan on accomplishing that, one way, by using the most dangerous letters in all of sports entertainment, RKO.
– The lights go out in the building. Trick Williams makes his way down to the ring.
Trick Williams: Hey, yo, cut the music. Reporting to you live, the sexy and most entertaining superstar alive, Trick Williams has finally arrived. And the truth is, Randy, I’ve got voices in my head, too. And they’re telling me, I got a bone to pick with you. Because we all know, Trick Williams should be in the main event of WrestleMania, getting that title shot. But I got another problem with you, Randy, maybe even bigger than that. You came out on Saturday, you came to my chamber, you were standing on your tippy toes, and you said Trick Williams is not 6’5. Now, here I am, Randy, in the ring, man-to-man, face-to-face, eye-to-eye, and it ain’t because I got on these Lemon Pepper Steppers.
Randy drops Trick with The RKO to close this segment.

– Cathy Kelley had a backstage interview with Ilja Dragunov. Why did Dragunov walk away from the US Title Shot that Carmelo Hayes offered him last week? Dragunov wants to answer that question with another question. How can you keep losing and feel like you deserve a title shot? Dragunov never wanted to be other people. Dragunov got that mindset from his mother. When people call him a warrior, it means something to him. Right now, Dragunov is just fighting the same way his mother would. Until Dragunov could become that warrior again, he’s just going to wait. The Miz joins the conversation by repeatedly saying, wait. Back in Miz’s day, he was always taught to seize the opportunity, always says yes to every opportunity. Miz starts poking fun at Dragunov’s rationale here. Kit Wilson joins the conversation. Kit tells Dragunov that his masculinity has him so obsessed with violence, it’s made him one thing, Toxic! Miz wants Dragunov to take opportunity, and Kit wants him to confront it with violence, so the only answer to that by stepping into the ring. It looks like fighting is always the answer. Miz tells Kit, that as the locker room leader, this is his opportunity. Kit says that Dragunov was talking to Miz. Miz tells Kit that he’s got this.
– Coming out of the commercial break, we see Nick Aldis talking to Damian Priest and R-Truth in the backstage area. Priest mentions that it’s getting difficult trying to find a place on the WrestleMania card. Truth tells Priest that he’s in big trouble, he’s in turmoil. Priest and Truth are entering the Tag Team Turmoil Match tonight. Priest says winning Tag Team Gold sounds good to him. Truth tells Nick that he also got in trouble before he walks away. Nick turns around and sees Drew McIntyre. Drew is giving Nick a chance to calm down since Elimination Chamber, but let’s be reasonable. Drew calls himself the face of SmackDown. They had an agreement about Cody Rhodes not getting any title rematches unless he won the Royal Rumble or the Elimination Chamber, he won neither, so Nick should make this right. Reasonable? Nick will tell Drew what’s unreasonable. Overtime, Drew looked into Nick’s eyes multiple times and telling him that he was going to let things happen the way it should, and leave it alone, but he couldn’t do it. Since Drew went back on his word, Nick went back on his, so now it’s time to put up or shut up, defend the Undisputed WWE Championship tonight, unless he wants to forfeit the championship. Drew feels like it’s him against the world. Drew has beat Cody Rhodes before, and he’ll do it again tonight, because only the way Cody will take this title away from him is prying it from his cold dead hands. Nick tells Drew to lace his boots tight.
The Irresistible Forces Championship Celebration
Nia Jax: Soak it all in, Portland. Get a real good look at two 6 Foot, thoroughbred stallions.
Lash Legend: Hey, I know that’s right.
Nia Jax: And now with these titles, we have the entire Tag Division on lock. Two of the most dominant women in the WWE. But listen, we’re generous champs, we’re not just gonna settle, so any and all challengers are welcome. But to be fair, it won’t make a difference.
Lash Legend: Girl, you’re absolutely right about that, because if anyone is brave enough to step to us and try to take these tag team titles, just know, if you run up, you’ll get done up. And for all of those in the back, all of those in the locker room, this is your first, last and only warning that The Irresistible Forces are here and we ain’t going nowhere. Thank you. That’s right. So, with that being said, since it’s Women’s History Month, it’s only fitting for us to have a toast, for us to have a cheer to the most grand and dominant WWE Tag Team Champions.
Alexa Bliss: Well, Nia, I’m really happy for ya, it looks you finally found a coattail to ride all the way to the top. Looks like it’s really working out for ya, but we remember what actually happened. The only reason we lost those titles to The Kabuki Warriors, was because you two cheaters interfered in our matches.
Charlotte Flair: So, the both of you want challengers, so you’re looking at the next ones in the ring.
Kiana James: Ladies, ladies, wait a minute, do y’all have some sort of memory issue, because two weeks ago, I was in a Triple Threat Match against Nia and Charlotte, and remind me who won that match again? Giulia: We are walking into Vegas with those Tag Team Championships.
Kiana James: So, Charlotte, Alexa, can you do us all a favor and step aside, thank you.
Nick Aldis: Woah, woah, okay, ladies, let’s all just take a breath. This is SmackDown, we don’t prove who deserves a title shot with a debate, we prove it with action, and I think Portland deserves a little action. So, we’re gonna give them, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss versus Kiana James and Giulia, and we’re gonna get a referee out here, because we’re gonna give that to you, right now.

I respect how you earned your way to see me in a title shot at WrestleMania. And as someone who works hard in the gym, I respect how hard to build the body you have, I do, I respect that. But I’m not impressed. I mean, sure, your arms are big, but mine are bigger. Your legs, yeah, they’re muscular, powerful even, but mine are more powerful. Hell, I’m more powerful. And I am more worthy for the WWE Women’s Championship. And come WrestleMania, I gonna beat the hell out of you, and there’s nothing you can do about it, because I’m that bitch.
Jade drops the microphone. Rhea and Jade shake hands again.
Rhea Ripley: Jade, I respect the honesty, I do. I mean, now I know what you really do think about me, and I guess I don’t impress you, physically. But I have to say, you do impress me, physically. See, your shoulders, yeah, I mean, they may be a little bigger than mine, I’ll give you that. Maybe your arms are, too. Maybe your legs are, also. And by the feeling of it, maybe your hand is also. But if you hit me with your best shot, do you really think I’m gonna go down and stay down? No. But if I hit you with mine, there’s absolutely no way you’re getting back up. Because you see, Jade, the difference between you and me is, your body, it’s built for show, while mine, it’s built for fighting. Your workout so that you’re more aesthetically pleasing, I work out so that my body could survive and thrive within this business. So, when that bell rings, you can flex all you want, it does no matter, because I’m going to fight. And I’m gonna take that title from you, and I’m gonna take it with force. And there’s not a damn thing that you can do about it, because I’m that bitch.
Rhea drops the microphone to close this segment.

Nick says that it’s great that a man of Miz’s accomplishments is willing to take a step back and help shape the future stars of the industry. Miz says that he needed someone to teach his three core values to, not some goth kid that nobody invited to the party. Danhausen says that he was a Prom King. Danhausen tells Miz that he’s going to help become WWE Champion and get him his own talking show. Miz refuses to mentor Danhausen.
