Stage Tour Is The Spiritual Successor To Guitar Hero From RedOctane Games

RedOctane Games has announce State Tour, its spiritual successor to the Guitar Hero franchise that is currently in development and set to launch later this year for PC and console.
Speaking in a press release, Simon Ebejer, Head of Studio at RedOctane Games, commented:
Stage Tour is our love letter to rhythm gaming. We want Stage Tour to feel familiar and authentic, but also fresh, utilizing modern technology to connect gamers with the music they love and enjoying a platform that evolves and grows over time. With new instruments and deep charting systems, we’re raising the bar on what we believe a rhythm game can be, while also catering to those wishing to simply enjoy a casual experience and have a good time.
Stage Tour follows in the same rhythmic footsteps as Guitar Hero and allows players to build their now band, assigning them key takes including Lead, Groove, Drums, or Vocals. You can also customise your Gibson guitar and bass designer, mixing and matching looks to achieve your own personal style. Meanwhile, rising through the ranks will see you accessing legendary rewards, exclusive content, and permanent bragging rights.
Taylor Berryman, Gibson Lifestyle and Licensing Senior Manager, added:
For a generation of players, rhythm games transformed music from something you listened to into something you lived—inspiring countless people to pick up real instruments and explore their creativity. Stage Tour is the next evolution of that influence. We’re thrilled to partner with RedOctane to reimagine what rhythm gaming can be and to spark deeper connection, creativity, and a lifelong love of music for generations to come.
Stage Tour is slated for release later this year for PC and consoles, with an exact release date yet to be announced.
