Kristen Bell To Voice Amy Rose In Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Movie

Sonic the Hedgehog voice actor Ben Schwartz has confirmed that Kristen Bell will be providing the voice for Amy Rose in 2027’s fourth Sonic the Hedgehog movie.

WE HAVE OUR AMY ROSE!!! And I could not be more excited!!! Please welcome the incredible @kristenanniebell to the @sonicmovie family!!!,” wrote Schwartz.

Bell cut her teeth on Veronica Mars and went on to appear in various comedies including Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Couples Retreat, and When In Rome. She’s also a prolific voice actor, having provided the voice for Princess Anna in Frozen and Frozen 2, as well as the voice and likeness for Lucy Stillman in Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed II, and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. She reprised her role as Anna for Disney Infinity and Kingdom Hearts III.

Amy first appeared in Sonic CD for the Sega Mega CD in 1993, and has since become something of a staple in the franchise, appearing in numerous other games and comic books. She was notably featured as one of many playable characters in Sonic’s first full-fledged 3D outing, Sonic Adventure, released on the Dreamcast in 1998.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s ending confirmed that Amy would be appearing in the sequel alongside Metal Sonic, although other plot details have yet to be confirmed.
