Control Resonant Is Targeting A Q2 2026 Release Window

Remedy has revealed during a filing to investors that Control Resonant, the upcoming sequel to 2019’s Control, is set to launch during the second quarter of 2026.

The filing was made at the end of 2025 and we’ve included an excerpt below:

We are now waiting for the release of Control Resonant at the end of Q2’26 (was H1’27), which has significantly altered our revenue estimates for the coming years. Additionally, we had previously assumed that Annapurna’s share of the game’s sales would be outside of Remedy’s income statement, but it appears that this share will also flow through Remedy. Thus, our revenue estimates have increased accordingly, but Annapurna’s share is reflected as an expense in the income statement as well.

Control Resonant takes places in Manhattan, where the Federal Bureau of Control is running out of options as it faces an unprecedented paranatural crisis. Dylan Faden is dispatched by the FBC to take on a mysterious cosmic entity that tinkering with the fundamental aspects of our reality, and therefore it’s up to Faden to harness his supernatural abilities and face off against a series of mind-bending threats.

Control Resonant was announced during December’s The Game Awards and will launch in the second quarter of 2026 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series XS/S.
