Fire Services Attend Rockstar North Offices Following Reports Of ‘Explosion In A Boiler Room’

Rockstar North, the studio behind Grand Theft Auto VI, saw fire crews attend its offices earlier today following reports of a boiler explosion, with the building have suffered “structural damage.”
According to reports from Edinburgh Live, fire services mobilised seven vehicles to the offices in Edinburgh, Scotland, around 5.02am local time, due to an “explosion in a boiler room.” Fire crew were remained at the scene for over four hours before departing, according to Scottish outlet, The Herald.
Speaking on the incident, a Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson commented:
We were alerted at 5.02am on Monday, 19 January to attend an incident on Holyrood Road, Edinburgh. Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances and specialist resources to the scene, where firefighters worked to secure structural damage at a commercial building. There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene at 9.21am.
In addition to its work on the Grand Theft Auto franchise, Rockstar North has also supported Rockstar San Diego on Red Dead Redemption, worked with Team Bondi on L.A. Noire, and was also involved with Max Payne 3 as part of Rockstar Studios. The company was originally founded in 1988 as DMA Design by David Jones in Dundee, Scotland.
