Sony Cuts Over 1,000 Shovelware Games From PS Store, And They’re All From A Single Developer

Developer ThiGames has seen more than 1,000 of its titles scrubbed from the PlayStation Store by Sony Interactive Entertainment, as the formats holder looks to be clamping down hard on PS5 shovelware.
Prior to these games being removed, ThiGames ranked fourth as the studio with the most number of titles available on the PlayStation Store. X user RobThanatos spotted the cull of games from developer, which leaves all of ThiGames’ released titles removed from the PS Store.
An official statement from Sony or ThiGames has not been made at the time of writing. If you’ve never heard of ThiGames before, they are known for producing games like Take The Jumping Fries, The Jumping Taco, The Jumping Hot Dog, The Jumping Soda…well, you get the picture.
The thing about shovelware titles such as these is that they offer an easy Platinum Trophy to unlock, so a lot of people flocked to them to boost their Trophy collection. The Jumping Taco TURBO for example has a guide to unlock its Platinum Trophy that is just 95 seconds long.
