Remember, Game of the Year winner Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 took this spot at Developer Direct 2025, so Xbox clearly has major belief that Beast of Reincarnation will impress people at the event on January 22nd — plus, it’s a guaranteed day one Game Pass title!

And finally, there’s the supposed “secret” fourth game that’s being talked about right now. It’s been suggested that a first-party Xbox studio is working on something smaller-scale for this reveal, but even if it’s not a major AAA title, Developer Direct has a fantastic track history with surprises over the years.
