Sony Unveils PS5 & DualSense Hyperpop Collection, Offering Techno, Remix & Rhythm Options
Sony Interactive Entertainment has lifted the wraps off a series of new PS5 covers and DualSense designs, known as the Hyperpop Collection. This features three distinct flavours: Techno, Remix, and Rhythm.
The official names for the covers are Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue. Speaking on the PlayStation Blog, Sony offered some insight into the designs from Leo Cardoso and Sae Kobayashi, who are part of the company’s Color, Materia, and Finish design team.
We’re cranking the volume all the way up with a collection that doesn’t just stand out, it takes over the room. Inspired by the glow of the RGB lights of your impressive gaming setups, these new colors go LOUD in the best possible way.
A seamless gradient wraps around the front and back of the DualSense, finished in a high-gloss coat that makes the colors POP more than ever. The console covers are also getting the same glow-up, featuring a subtle hint of transparency.
Both the Hyperpop PS5 covers and DualSense controllers will go on sale stating March 12, 2026 at PlayStation Direct and participating retailers. The DualSense pads will retail for $84.99 while the console covers will set you back $74.99.
