Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles Hits 1 Million Shipments & Digital Sales

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles has reached one million shipments and digital sales worldwide three months after its release.
The milestone was achieved as of December 31, 2025, the publisher said, and covers all available versions of the game. Square Enix’s Kazutoyo Maehiro commented: “The entire development is incredibly grateful to you all, and we are taking this positive reception as motivation to continue considering future updates to make the game even more enjoyable and accessible to an even wider audience.”
Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles launched on September 30, 2025 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. You can read our full verdict on the game here.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is a modern overhaul of the classic 1996 PlayStation RPG, offering full voice acting, quality-of-life changes, and a completely overhauled user interface. In addition, the game includes a number of key creative minds from the original 1997 version, including Maehiro-san, who served as director, as well as Hiroshi Minagawa (art director), and Yasumi Matsuno (original script, scenario writer and editor).
