Our team is wholly committed to Creativity. We will continue to hone our Craftsmanship and Challenge ourselves to drive new technologies and new types of fun, aiming to deliver the Coolest experiences possible.
We are hard at work on the Okami sequel. Although the release is still a ways off, we cannot wait to get the finished game into your hands. We will continue to work tirelessly this year to deliver an experience that surpasses the expectations of players all over the world.
He finished by “thanking you all for being so supportive of our new studio” and “wishing everyone a happy and successful new year.”
Clovers is working alongside Machine Head Works on the Okami sequel, which is being powered by Capcom’s RE Engine, and is being directed Hideki Kamiya. Speaking during an interview last year, the Resident Evil 2 director played down the notion that Clovers Studio would only be focussing on developing sequels to existing IPs, noting the studio “will not close off any possibilities when it comes to making games.”
