Hitman World Of Assassination’s Next Elusive Target Sees Eminem Hunting Down Slim Shady

IO Interactive Entertainment has announced that the next Elusive Target for Hitman: World of Assassination will be none other than Slim Shady, and you’ll be teaming up with Eminem to hunt him down. The Eminem vs. Slim Shady mission is set to run December 1 — 31, 2025.

The Death of Slim Shady, which is the rapper’s latest album, attempted to put his twisted alter-ego down for good, but he’s now decided to call up on the unique set of skills of Agent 47 himself to take down Slim Shady for good. This collaboration from IO Interactive and Paul Rosenberg (creative/producer) features dreamlike twists that echoes the unhinged reality of Slim Shady, and takes place in a medical facility in Hokkaido.

However, this area has been become twisted into the Popsomp Hills Asylum, where Agent 47 will have to hunt Slim Shady throughout numerous locations, including his broadcasting studio, with the goal of surreptitiously eliminating his target. Eminem fans will soak up the numerous references featured during the mission from his discography, including Mom’s Spaghetti and a performance of Houdini.

Alongside the new Elusive Target, IO Interactive announced today that HITMAN World of Assassination will be launching on the ROG XBOX Ally X and ROG XBOX Ally on December 1. The new Elusive Target mission featuring Eminem vs. Slim Shady will be playable day one on these new devices. The game will also be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, allowing players to enjoy seamless play across Xbox consoles and Microsoft PC with shared progress and achievements.

Hitman: World of Assassination encompasses all the content from the rebooted Hitman trilogy, which began in 2016 as an episodic title with new content rolling out on a regular basis. Originally, IO had partnered with Square Enix for Hitman before moving briefly to Warner Bros. and eventually sent on to self-publish the series. Back in January, IO Interactive confirmed that Hitman: World of Assassination had attracted 75 million players worldwide.
