Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 Campaign Solo Players Cannot Pause The Game, And There’s No Checkpoints

Early adopters of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 have been reporting a few, shall we say, slightly less appealing aspects about Activision’s latest military shooter, including the fact solo players cannot pause the action.
While the campaign is focussed on a squad of characters, solo players have quickly found out that the AI will not replace any of the roles that would otherwise be filled by human player. Frustratingly, checkpoints are not available, so if you have to quit a mission for whatever reason, you’ll have to start it all over again when you resume the game. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 also requires a constant Internet connection for its campaign, so progress is lost if you’re booted offline .
