The development team is instead putting focus on improving the PC version of the game, with various changes focussing on “approachability” coming as part of the upcoming Midnight expansion.
Back in November 2023, Holly Longdale, Vice President and Executive Producer for the franchise, revealed during BlizzCon 2023 that the team talks about the possibility of bringing the game to consoles ‘all the time,’ although given the comments above it would seem that this is no longer going to happen.
