Apple’s new iPad Pro M5 is already cheaper on Amazon, so what are you waiting for?

Despite launching just a couple of weeks ago, Amazon has already discounted the price of the iPad Pro M5 down from $999.99 to $949.99, saving you a cool $50 on the Apple tablet. That might not sound like a lot, but when you take into context how rare it is to see the tech giant’s products receive price reductions, it could be well worth taking advantage of in the long run.

For those who don’t know, the iPad Pro M5 is a fresh contender for our guide to the best iPads for gaming, with its M5 processor offering almost console-level performance in everything from Candy Crush to our favorite Apple Arcade games. In all the testing we’ve seen, the premium Apple tablet wipes the floor with the previous generation, including when running triple-A games such as Resident Evil 4 and Death Stranding.

Not only is the new iPad Pro a performance monster, but it also packs an 11-inch OLED display, ideal for both streaming content on Disney+ or Netflix and playing all the best iPad games. Then there’s the bumper 31.29Wh battery, which is more than capable of offering at least ten hours of use before it’s time to reach for your charger. If all that wasn’t enough, the tablet is also Apple Pencil compatible, so you can work as well as play. Simply put, if you’re looking for a great all-rounder tablet, look no further.

The $949.99 price point applies to the 256GB version of the new iPad Pro M5 in either the Space Black or Silver colorways. If almost $1,000 in one go is a bit outside of your price range, there are a couple of Amazon payment plans you can check out to find what suits you.

Finally, it’s worth mentioning that there isn’t any indication of whether or not the iPad Pro M5 price drop is one of Amazon’s time-limited deals or not, but we’d still recommend acting fast to avoid disappointment. If you wanted to check out the competition first, though, we’ve got a guide to the best gaming tablets full of Android alternatives at affordable prices.
