Battlefield RedSec Is A Free-To-Play Battle Royale Arriving October 28

Battlefield 6‘s long-rumoured Battle Royale mode has been officially announced by Electronic Arts in the form of Battlefield RedSec, a standalone free-to-play battle royal game arriving on October 28, 2025.

Unfortunately there isn’t much to go on right now, but we will get an official gameplay trailer tomorrow when REDSEC launches, as there’s a countdown right now featuring the REDSEC name and brief description. As previously reported, the battle royale mode was heavily rumoured to arrive on October 28, so those reports were spot on. This also happens to be the same date that Season 1 kicks off.
