First-Person Horror Title Maid Of Sker Is Coming To PSVR 2 In November 2025
Maid of Sker VR is coming to PSVR 2, Steam VR, and Quest in November 2025, Wales Interactive has announced. The game was previously released for home consoles and PC in July 2020.
Set during 1898 and inspired by the Welsh tale of Elisabeth Williams, Maid of Sker VR takes the form of a first-person horror that immerses players in a remote hotel plagued by a gory history from Welsh folklore. The game utilises 3D sound-based AI systems as its key survival mechanic, with payers required to use stealth tactics to evade your enemies. The story combines psychological, gothic and British horror, and reimagines Welsh hymns such as Calon Lan (A Pure Heart), Suo-Gân (Welsh Lullaby), and Ar Hyd Y Nos (All Through the Night).

The plot follow Thomas Evans, who is called to Sker Island by his lover, the aforementioned Elisabeth Williams, to unearth the mysteries of the hotel after she notes her family behaving straggly. The hotel, it turns out, is control by cultists known as The Quiet Ones.
Maid of Sker VR is due out in November 2025 for PSVR 2, Steam VR, and Quest.
