LEGO, pre-orders, DLC, music and more join this week’s eShop roundup
What’s happening on the Nintendo Switch family of systems this week? There’s a focus on a handful of pre-orders, some excellent music to enjoy, and plenty of new games to get excited about, too.
Pre-orders are now open for three upcoming titles: Borderlands 4, EA Sports FC26, and Sonic Racing. These big hitters will be released over the next couple of weeks, but players wanting to get ahead of the game can be prepared and pr-order now, bringing them one step closer to playing. Let us know which ones you’re ordering!
We were all surprised to see Donkey Kong Bananza receive DLC so soon after release, but it was a welcome surprise. The DK Island and Emerald Rush pack is out now, giving players the chance to collect more items across this vast world with DK and Pauline. We’ll be talking about our time with the DLC on an upcoming episode of the podcast, so stay tuned!
The Nintendo Music app has been steadily growing since it launched last year. This week’s addition ties in with the DK DLC release, bringing 9 lovely tacks from Donkey Kong Bananza to the streaming service. As if that wasn’t enough, tracks from Mario Galaxy 2 are also available on Nintendo Music now, tying in with the upcoming revamped bundle of Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, due out in just a few weeks on October 2.
There’s also a long list of games to tempt your digital wallet, including the colorful LEGO Voyagers. This creative co-op outing promises to help players experience what it’s like to be a LEGO brick as youo “tumble, jump, snap together, and build your way through rich brick worlds”. Sounds interesting, to say the least.
Check out the full list of new releases below. What will you be playing this week?
